Want to grab a festival? Then grab TAPT Beer Festival (you can find them all over the country)
Sorry, but what could be more fun than a beer festival? There is music, there is plenty to eat and you are assured that you will have plenty of beer to taste instead of your standard beaten-to-dead lager. And then there is LOST. It's a party every time and more and more beer-loving people want to join the party. With two brand new locations and a few golden oldies, the folks at TAPT are continuing to enjoy their drinks. You will find several Dutch breweries and many beers from local brewers, the finest food trucks to create a good base and also all kinds of games (think mega-Jenga, an absolute favorite). Don't leave your friends who don't like beer at home, because there is also a lot of fine wine to be found and for the first time you can also order Soof's mocktails at the TAPT Festivals.
Needless to say, this festival is all about beer, beer and more beer (or wine or mocktails if that's more your thing). But if you want to show that you understand the trends, you have to look beyond the latest brew and IPAs. That is why there is also room at this festival for low-alcohol and 0% beer and other drinks without alcohol. If that's not the reason why you're going to a beer festival, there are also around 80 beers with alcohol. Look, we'll end that with a heartfelt cheers.
Luckily you find TAPT Festival throughout the country and on different dates. Then you can be sure that you can pick one up. Where is there one near you? Find it below!
Useful to know: at all TAPT Festivals you can only pay by card.
Oh oh you Hagenezen. How lucky that you now also have your own TAPT festival. And what kind, say hello. TAPT The Hague is located near the Lange Voorhout, one of the most beautiful urban nature strips in the country. The Hague companions of Brewery Kompaan are of course present, but also the ladies behind it Brewed by Women, you can taste beer from Eiber Beer (they also have a very nice location at creative hotspot Haags Hoog) and that is just a small selection of the many breweries that are serving at TAPT Den Haag.
While everyone had to sit quietly last year, TAPT in Haarlem is going all out this year. You will find this edition in the Reinalda Park, so it is surrounded by greenery and very easy to reach by public transport (a ten-minute walk from Spaarnwoude Station). If you say beer and Haarlem in the same sentence, you of course also say Jopen. You know them, that brewery in a church where you can drink beer between the beer kettles. That's for sure jopen there is with, yes, beer and them silent disc. Brewery 't Uiltje from Haarlem is also present, as well as other local and Dutch breweries too many to mention.
TAPT Rotterdam is less than a half-hour walk from Rotterdam Central Station on Heemraadsplein. Of course Roffa couldn't stay behind when it comes to beer and drinks, so this year they kick off the first edition of TAPT Rotterdam. North brewery, ROTT Brouwers en The Cape Brewers represent their own city here with classics from their core assortment, but also with new experiments. Game, snack, beer tasting: this last weekend of August is the place to be in Rotterdam.
A summer full of beer festivals ends at TAPT in Amsterdam West. The edition where it all started seven years ago and where it ends this summer. You will find this edition in the Rembrandt Park, so it's time to wear flip-flops and put your feet in the grass. Packed with Amsterdam breweries (De Prael Brewery, Oedipus Brewing, Poesiat & Kater, Pontus Brewing to name just a few), but also plenty of barley beer from the rest of the country.
