Big tip: hotel and restaurant Babel Belleville, Paris

One that we should lift out of there is: hotel and restaurant Babel Belleville, Paris. The hotel and restaurant are a bit reminiscent of the (crazy!) Hotel The Post in Ghent (check it out) in the mix with restaurant Mamma Primi in the same oh-so-fine Paris. And yes, that's quite a nice mix.
First a few words about the location of the hotel. After all: location, location, location. That's the 20th Arrondissement. Now we can almost hear you thinking... 20th? 20th? That's not good news, is it? Wrong! The 20th is the new 10th (Pigalle) and the 10th was already the new 3rd (le Marais) and from the 20th you are immediately in both the 10th and the 3rd, because that is where the arrondissement rubs off. Ha! And if that the trick not yet: the 20th Arrondissement is indeed not (yet) very popular, which benefits the hotel prices. And: Belville metro station is literally around the corner. Voila! A winner already, that hotel and restaurant Babel Belleville.
Also very nice: the family rooms! Affordable and large, in the category 'there aren't that many of those in Paris'. And just to make sure it's kid-proof-ness to stay: the hotel is located in a side street without car traffic: super quiet.
The vibe? It is oriental with a strong hint of France. Hence the name of course: Babel, or بابل, Bābil in Arabic. Of Babylon. Are you there? Beautiful and atmospheric, that's what it is, in the most beautiful colors. The friendly staff adds a nice dash of holiday fun on top.
