Colombia: Capital Bogotá in coffee stops

It should be clear: drinking coffee in Colombia is very good. This is of course due to the many coffee plantations in the country. Many businesses have their own beans and that makes it extra fun to visit coffee stops in the capital Bogotá and the city and enjoy at least one cup of coffee everywhere.

Masa, Bogota, Colombia

Masa, Bogota, Colombia

A delicious coffee shop with perhaps even tastier bread. Bread as we say in Colombia. From almond croissant to good (sandwich, as we say in the Netherlands), to all kinds of other sweets that we Europeans don't necessarily have a word for, but which certainly leave us wanting more. You will find this nice one in Zona G, which is certainly a nice neighborhood to stroll through.

The club sandwich is a must if you've had a few too many beers the night before. Just saying.

Colo Coffee Usaquen, Bogotá, Colombia

Another nice neighborhood is Usaquen. Do know: both neighborhoods, Usaquen and Zona G, are mainly located in the 'prosperous' part of Bogotá, Colombia. You don't see the 'real' Colombia here, so to speak. Which in itself can't hurt, certainly not to start the day. At Colo they make their own cold brewand it is highly recommended. The coffee also comes in a cozy bottle and that makes it even more fun.

You can also work here on the terrace in front of the door or in the workspace in the middle of the room. Have a good time.

Café 18 - El Chicó, Bogotá, Colombia

Café 18 - El Chicó, Bogotá, Colombia

Another photogenic spot. Café 18 is located in two locations in the capital and serves a delicious brunch. Waffles, avo toast, pancakes: something for everyone. The coffee is once again their own (which is no longer special once on Colombian territory). The mugs are also cozy, cozy to stay here.

Azahar Café, Bogotá, Colombia

Azahar Café, Bogotá, Colombia

Around the corner from the famous park Parque de la 93 you will find Azahar 93. A wonderfully bright space where the light bursts in. A combination of glass and green. Neutral interior which makes it very cozy due to the wood tones.

The coffee is excellent and the cookies and treats are once again delicious - so nothing to complain about here at Azahar.
