Colombia: Lunch & Dinner in the capital Bogotá
A nice bonus when traveling with kids is if there is a good lunch culture in the country you are visiting. That is absolutely the case in Colombia. No one will look at you strangely if you sit down for a few hours before lunch (and then go to bed nice and early, with the chickens - er, kids, on the roost).
In capital Bogotá you can eat very well, really, you just have to know where to be - otherwise you may often end up with a large piece of meat in front of you. Reservations are required key, so take advantage of these tips!
Apart from that, the kitchen is also amazing. Above all, you can get good meat here (oh hello Colombian cuisine) but also plenty of Mexican – so there is something for everyone. The drinks are delicious and do yourself a favor and take the stairs above to stroll around the building. The service is very sweet and they are happy to take the time and effort for you (sometimes with Google in their palm because English is not spoken here). Be sure to combine this restaurant when you visit the old city! (incl modern art museum! gogogo).
A wonderful restaurant with a fantastic menu. They are very fond of fire, flame and smoke here, so if you order a cocktail here, you can be sure that there will be quite the spectacle involved... Just so you know.
The roasted cauliflower is delicious and even the simplest pastas leave you wanting more.
