Do you know that feeling? That you enter a place where it is so beautiful that you are immediately afraid that you and your clumsy children will destroy everything? That's not exactly what it feels like in Boshuisje XL.
It is under the supervision of none other than Piet Hein Eek Your renovated forest house is breathtaking and you immediately have the feeling that it is all yours. There is a lot of beautiful things, but there is very little that can be broken.
It is light, warm, spacious and decorated with a bizarre sense of atmosphere and style. It is a house to come home to and a house to live in.
The wow effect starts immediately when you enter. The elongated front room has been left completely open. The wooden walls give the room a soft, warm glow. One after the other you see (have-have-have) the beautiful dining table, the kitchen with a crazy green island on wheels, French doors to the garden and a little further a seat by the fireplace.
At the rear, running the length of the house, there are two bathrooms and four cozier than cozy bedrooms, two of which have built-in bunk beds.
In the summer, the two large doors to the enormous beautiful garden are open all day. There you can play on the large lawn, in your own piece of forest, on the swing or the trampoline. There is a pool where you can cool off in the summer, there is a pizza oven... You already heard it, you actually don't have to leave the site at all.
If you do, you can wander around the most beautiful estates in the beautiful surroundings or marvel at the beauty of the Gorsselse heath.
Okay, it's not the cheapest getaway, but it is one where after 5 minutes we were already wondering how we could stay there forever.
You will find this special (and long!) forest house of no less than twenty meters long on the edge of the Epse forest. The house is easily accessible by car and is close to Deventer and Zutphen. You can discover Deventer by bike and Zutphen is about a twenty-minute drive by car. You can take beautiful walking and cycling trips in nature or enjoy terraces in one of the surrounding towns. The forest house XL has been transformed into an elongated nature house designed by Piet Hein Eek. It used to be two separate holiday homes separated by a garage! The forest house is bright and modern and you will soon feel comfortable here. Promise.
The living area of the house consists of a dining room on one side, an open kitchen in the middle and a living room on the other side with a nice stove. The forest house has no fewer than four bedrooms and two bathrooms, making it easy to accommodate a large family or two different families (max. eight people). Two bedrooms have a double bed and the other two rooms have a bunk bed. How fun for the kids! The kids can play on the large open lawn with a trampoline and a swing. In the summer, parents can enjoy the terrace with a nice glass of wine and a drink homemade pizza. Because yes, dear people, there is a pizza oven. Behind the house there is an outdoor pool where you can enjoy a nice bath.
