Bottomless Brunch at Celia Amsterdam
We sketch an ideal Saturday or Sunday: get up quietly, take a nice shower and put a little more effort into your outfit than during the week. Meet with your favorite club and then: Bottomless Brunch! A little bit of everything, cocktail plus a few more and chat, eat and have drinks in the early afternoon. Peaking early is the new going out. Where? Well, at the Bottomless Brunch by Celia Amsterdam at the Kimpton de Witt hotel. For 25 euros you can enjoy cocktails for a whole part of the afternoon: mimosas, bloody marys, bubbles...
It is always sunny at Celia's, because everything that comes out of the kitchen has a Californian twist. If the sun does not shine, Celia is highly recommended, because you will always leave the tent in a good mood. Cinnamon bun French toast, crispy chicken on well-filled sandwiches and of course plenty of mimosas and prosecco.
For those who have never been to bottomless brunch: a brunch as you know it. Around noon, there has to be an egg dish somewhere (otherwise we don't think it counts) and something to drink with it. Bottomless brunch is the 2.0 version, because you pay an X amount, so you don't have any surprises for the rest of the afternoon ('did I seriously just spend my grocery money on all those cocktails?'). Not to mention, at some point it's enough (usually around two o'clock). At Celia too: you choose what you want to eat, and for an extra 25 euros you can order unlimited cocktails. Bottomless brunch is not necessary: you can order it with brunch, but if you just want a cup of coffee or a juice, that is just as good.
You can simply order the brunch dishes at Celia a la carte. Fill the table, keep the blueberry pancake for yourself or make it a three-course party: completely up to you. But just as a brunch without eggs is not a brunch, the cocktails cannot be missed either. For 25 euros per person you can order cocktails to your heart's content: mimosas, bloody marys or just a glass of bubbles. The Cucumber Margarita is not part of the Celia's Bottomless Brunch, but that one. is. Like this. Good. Rest assured, but after the CM you will never want anything else.
We can recommend the kale salad (yes, really) and we actually wanted to order the crispy chicken sandwich again, but there had to be room for the cinnamon bun French toast. Champagne problems, we know.
