The best (new) children's brands from Southern Europe

Yes, really, we are all thinking together en masse to Southern Europe (Spain, Italy, Portugal...) when it comes to our holidays. You too, admit it. But do you know that the the best children's brands also come from those countries? Is so. No, we are not talking about Zara level (although sometimes there are people who are not averse to that - buy less, choose well) but about cool & cute, (usually) sustainable and unique. And, not just for summer fun! The Southern Europeans spoil us with beautiful things for every season.

The Campamento (NEW!)

The Campamento (NEW!)

Shit, what a joke... I, Maartje, shouted out loud when Renske, the brain behind this list of great tips, came up with this new brand. Poop. Those overalls. Those jackets. That shirt. Having it all… Thank you very much.

The (very nice!) woman behind the new kids label The Campamento knows exactly what she's doing. And she does it oh so well. All colorful clothes that radiate something mature, but not too much, are made of beautiful, warm fabrics. Almost every trendy store has this brand, thank god, so autumn might as well start. The new collection includes delicious, cute dungarees, warm teddy sweaters and lovely turtlenecks. Fan! thecampamento.com

Play up

Play up

The (also fairly young) label PlayUp is eco and sustainable (a nice added bonus); so they do that well anyway. In addition, the fabrics are so soft and so fine that, in addition to being a nice sight for mothers and fathers, it is also comfortable to wear. Plus: the Play Up website will immediately make you happy! They do justice to their name.
All Play Up items are selling like hotcakes, such as the baggy high jeans (it's a thing) for kids that is now almost impossible to find anywhere, barely two weeks after the new collections appeared. Anyway, Play Up, for wonderful basic items for every children's wardrobe. And it gets even better: what can be done for little ones can also be done for adults! Play Up also has a collection for moms and dads, with the same relaxed, uber-soft looks. playupstore.com

Tiny Cottons

Tiny Cottons

We love the Spanish Tiny Cottons and absolutely everything that the label produces. From the Lucky Elephant Socks to the (now well-known?) banana sweater. Everything from Tiny Cottons is always beautiful and, above all, funny. The knitted bloomers for babies are a must-have if you want to make your baby look even cuter than he or she already does. Leggings for the boys are just as nice... Not to mention the cool sweaters. And for anyone who is looking for socks that stay in place: Tiny Cottons! It's the one and only, trust us.

The New Society Kids

The New Society Kids

For everyone who loves simplicity, the most beautiful fabrics and a mellow dreamy look & feel: THE NEW SOCIETY. We can – quite – appreciate it here. All those natural shades that create the most beautiful pictures tone-on-tone... Sigh. We have to wait until they also make this for bigger people, because then we will also be at the front. For winter/autumn, lovely thick woolen fluffy oversized coats, courduroy trousers and thick cozy sweaters. Again: sigh. thenewsocietykids.com

Bobo Choses

Bobo Choses

Yeah duh. A no brainer. Bobo Choses is colorful and crazy and although the brand has plenty of delicious things for little girls, it is the brand for mothers and fathers who also want to bring color and non-boringness to their sons. Bobo (we can say Bobo) does not (in principle) do gender dressing. Okay, the dresses with white lace (and even those are cool!) may not necessarily be a good idea for a boy (although that is of course possible!). But other than that, anything is possible. Oh well, we can fill an A4 page with it. Bobo simply does everything right, from A to Z.
