THE most beautiful children's brands from our own Netherlands
While we are busy making nice children's lists... (see for example the article about the the best children's brands from Southern Europe and share one of the nicest kids stores in the Netherlands) Then this one cannot be missed! Sustainable purchasing (buy less, choose well people) from such a beautiful Dutch brand (support your local heroes) - we are convinced. And when we were working on this list, we were amazed at all the beautiful things that come from the Netherlands (dutch pride!).
Duh, of course. Maed for Mini is more than just fun and here to stay. Who hasn't seen a child wearing the well-known red leopard print leggings?! Well? Well? Precisely. Perfect for both boys and girls.
The Rotterdam brand (which is no longer Rotterdam but Amsterdam) is great for both basics and more special items. The new collection (hello autumn weather) is once again nothing but beautiful, more beautiful, most beautiful. Think brown, think old pink, think soft blue and dream some more. Of course, the entire collection as usual, peppered with the most delicious knits and high-quality fabrics. Suitable for kids aged 0-12 years.
The cool thing Repose AMS started making the perfect 'blanket' for your mini. Important, certainly, but they no longer just make blankets. Repose AMS has become an indispensable part of children's stores and yes, we are also fans. Repose is just that little bit different from everything else. Call it daring and trendsetting. The new collection is reminiscent of your hip granny gone cool with a nice 70's vibe. There are jumpsuits (we love jumpsuits and dungarees for normal Dutch figures), sundresses and warm knitted sweaters in beautiful colors. And of course the well-known always-good basics such as thin turtlenecks and comfortable sweaters. Oh yes, also add the “track pants” to your basket, a classic and available again this season in the most beautiful colors.
Hallelujah, 100 points for Freckle and Sprout. The new collection from this fresh, cool brand is called Night Jungle and that suits the collection well. Of course there is brown (an autumn without brown is not autumn) but also stripes, color and print. Fav? The hoodie with the name terry. A cool woolen boys' cardigan in, yes, brown. John It must also be said: the scarves and hats from Sproet and Sprout are impressive. Go check it out.
You could see the cheerful CarlijnQ as the Mini Rodini of the Low Countries. Bugs on leggings, bugs on dungarees; everything is possible, nothing too crazy. Take this fall's Goldfish leggings, how nice. No wonder some items are already sold out... Go and go fast.
Okay, so I'm really a mega Mingo fan. For basics: Mingo. For dashes: Mingo. Leggings: Mingo again. It doesn't stop and it's affordable too. The brand started 5 years ago, set up by two ladies (one Swedish, the other Dutch). The two started drawing, very simply, as they could not find a decent minimalist brand in the Netherlands. A label that made what they wanted to wear to their own kids. And then you do it yourself. Logically. In addition, production had to be done fairly (the two still oversee this themselves). The rest is history because every decent, hip shop now sells Mingo. Mingo for president.
