Don't fool mothers: donttellmum

It's something, being a child. Small as you are, you have to deal with a number of ailments. We call it chickenpox, or eczema. Not to mention that chronic runny nose, bruises from all the falls and diaper rash. It is our parents' noble task to prevent all that little baby and child suffering or to make the suffering as bearable as possible. We can certainly do that, but sometimes a little help in the form of good care products is nice. Also found Marloes Visser, herself a mother of two. She was driven crazy by the well-intentioned advice for all childhood ailments, while as a mother (or father!) you know what your child needs. No one has to tell you that. Marloes took matters into her own hands and, together with medical professionals, developed a product line that you can rely on just as much as you can rely on your own intuition. Give it up for dont tell lmum; a new Dutch self-care brand that only works with the best ingredients, such as 100% vegetable Vaseline and oatmeal extract, and that guides us through those first years and childhood ailments. Everything is easy to use and proven effective. Child happy, you happy.

Don't scratch!

Don't scratch!

If there is one thing we are careful with, it is the babe's skin. That has to endure quite a bit, in winter (heating!) and in summer (sun!). How we would love to wipe away the eczema from the apple of our eye. Just seeing the puppy constantly scratching makes us itch ourselves. Unfortunately it is eczema cannot be cured. What you can do as a parent to keep the itching within limits: smear, rub, rub with a neutral, greasy cream.

Donttellmum's Eczema Repair is clinically proven effective and dermatologically tested. We use this tube for daily maintenance, but also for crisis situations when the eczema suddenly flares up violently. Because we don't just put anything on that extremely sensitive skin, we are happy with this cream without the mess. All three skin's own lipids to accelerate skin recovery, 100% vegetable petroleum jelly to hydrate and oatmeal extract to protect. Exactly what troubled children's skin needs.

Every child gets it at some point: chickenpox. And that's actually a good thing, because it is a lot less annoying at a young age than if you catch this virus as an adult. This does not alter the fact that your UK could be very ill and end up covered in blisters from head to toe. And that itches! To prevent Junior from continuing to scratch, there are tricks from grandmother's time, but it also feels nice to be able to apply something cooling. Such as the Chickenpox Treatment from donttellmum, a proven effective formulation that we keep in the refrigerator so that the ointment is nice and cold. And also pretty cool: the emulsion has a so-called 'no-touch applicator' so you don't have to touch the blisters. That's great, because it reduces the chance of a bacterial infection and therefore the chance of scars. The brush is easy and hygienic to use. Moreover, you can touch the blisters with one hand and hold your child with the other. And simple: after use, rinse the brush under the hot tap and then put it back in the refrigerator. Where's the chickenpox party?

Falling and getting up again

Falling and getting up again

They are the most fun when they are actually very naughty and climb on everything. It is less fun when they then roll off the couch/high chair/kitchen island (true story). Ouch. Immediately working with Falls & Bumps Gel van donttellmum cools and โ€“ also important, let's be honest โ€“ prevents your child from getting a big blue egg on his forehead. The tube applicator aka the 'magic wand' is easy and hygienic, because you don't have to touch the spot with your (dirty) hands. The gel contains, among other things, arnica, a natural ingredient that cares for blue-colored skin, 100% vegetable Vaseline and oatmeal extract. Also great to use before your little one gets their vaccinations and an essential item in the diaper bag when your little one starts taking his first steps. Or later when he makes his entrance on the hockey or football field: this gel also works wonders if your child has a snack during sports.

Another indispensable part in the diaper bag: butt ointment. Every parent knows that as long as your child is in diapers, diaper rash occurs. Sad, because it is so difficult to explain to your sweet baby or toddler why it hurts so much. A nourishing ointment with the right active ingredients helps. Donttellmum's butt ointment is completely vegan and contains the right combination of 100% vegetable Vaseline and zinc oxide. This magical duo cares, protects and supports. It contains enough zinc to be effective, but not so much that it leaves a thick white residue. This ointment is absorbed quickly, so you don't have to scrub thoroughly with wipes during the next cleaning cycle. Saves again. The ointment also contains almond and sunflower oil; great for fragile skin and in the fight against diaper rash.

With the arrival of a child, you also bring a lot of snot into your home. Chronic runny noses, broken nights, we've had it all. You can of course put an onion next to your runny nose's bed, but will that really make a difference? A bit more modern and effective are the inhalation patches from donttellmum. You stick the plasters in fun animal shapes on your baby's pajamas and then the essential oils such as eucalyptus and menthol do their work for the rest of the night. The patches are free of camphor, a substance known to cause skin irritation. A reassuring feeling. With the release of up to eight hours, your child can breathe more freely and will therefore sleep more peacefully. And you too. Win-win ๐Ÿ™‚

Bonus points for donttellmums Kiddo. Who? Kiddo. That is the funny little figure that adorns every package and that uses simple signals to indicate where the pain or itching is. Specially designed for our minis who cannot yet express it in words: thanks to the Kiddo they can also simply point it out. Can we donttellmum coloring pages and cuddly Kiddo's team?!
