Favorite brands that complete the nursery
Of course everyone in Amsterdam and surrounding areas knows it Archive store: a place where everything is equally beautiful, and no chicken thinks otherwise. Duh. Buuuut, there are (still) a few great interior brands for children that make our hearts beat faster. Fortunately, we are not the worst and we are happy to share this list. You can thank us later.
Wall decoration, floor cushions, wicker baskets, linen children's bedding and more nice things for the children's room. The interior brand from Spain has this: ILA Y ELA. All items that we would like to see appear as decoration in our children's room - or secretly our own room.
ILA Y ELA is a brand with items for the children's room in natural materials and shades, a simplistic yet cheerful design and large items so you don't have to purchase a lot of knick-knacks. From large wall hangings to wonderful, practical floor cushions.
Decorating the children's room is a favorite activity. And the aim is to find a balance between stylish – read: not the bright pink or Spiderman prints of your child's taste – but still letting the child be a child. This brand falls into the category – again havehavehave. The Family Love Tree, for example, has beautiful bed headboards and fantastic storage baskets. So much choice in color too! It Australian brand was founded by Katie Grahan, a well-known in the country, and Katie ensures that the entire collection is designed in Australia, and produced worldwide by real artisans with a passion for their profession (and you can see that immediately). We almost want to rent a sea container to transfer the entire collection. thank god: they deliver worldwide. One point of criticism: the brand does not fully live up to its name and is not completely sustainable.
Another nice brand and simply from our little country. Doing Goods. Are any bells ringing yet? We don't think it's surprising: the brand has many nice items that are very well priced and therefore a perfect gift. There are children's accessories and man oh man, because you can decorate the children's room (or children's corner) with all the 'adult' Doing Goods products! Doing Goods also receives a nomination for the nicest rugs and wall hangers. Here you go.
Doing Goods is a brand synonymous with authenticity and... . They design and develop home accessories in India and Indonesia. Cushions, doorknobs, hooks, glass boxes, everything. Owners Jan and Aanyoung get their inspiration for these accessories during their travels around the world. They call it Wabi Sabi stuff, a Japanese word that means 'disfigured'.

Kaos is a delightful brand from beautiful Norway. All products are functional (we love), high quality and, well, just beautiful. The most famous item is the KAOS Endeløs wall bar. A wall rack, yes, but a very beautiful one and the possibilities are endless! It is also a climbing wall (!), a storage wall rack and possibly a desk. All in one. The Endeløs grows with the family and is a wonderful solution for all your storage problems in the living room, hallway, bathroom, play corner and baby and children's rooms. And yes, the wall bar is also just fantastic to play with.

Another great brand. Ollie Ella was 'born' in London (in 2009), founded by two sisters with a penchant for nursery furniture that is playful and iconic, and above all, just looks damn beautiful. Olli Ella's designs products that may be made for children, but that moms and dads will also fall in love with. That suitcase! We want five.
You can buy Ollie Ella products through its own webshop, of course, but fortunately the brand is also sold through many Dutch webshops. Always feels good.
This is a special one. Kiss on your heart has very nice accessories for children's rooms such as name wall hangers, cushions, cards: everything special, unique and handmade.
That in itself is special of course, standing out of the crowd, but it gets even better when you know that about each product a fixed amount goes to the Hartekind Foundation and the Heart Foundation's TikkieRing. Founder Kim has a son with a heart defect and decided that she wanted, no: had to, do something with this. To encourage other parents and children, and in financial form. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone: buy beautiful products and immediately support a wonderful cause close to home.
Aaaah yes, Tess Guinery and her beautiful books, every page of which can be placed in a frame. Tess and her brand of the same name are of course not a special children's label, but her prints are perfect for styling a children's room. The beautiful color combinations (terra, ocher, old pink...) and quotes give a cheerful atmosphere and positive feeling to your room, immediately.
Mrs multitask is a small start-up company run by the Dutch Tamara. She makes very beautiful handmade decorations and cuddly toys for children's rooms. For example, via Mrs Multitask you can find various 'mobiles' (is that the plural? Or is it 'mobiles'? 'Mobiles'?
