This is where you want to go: karaoke bar Duke of Tokyo in Rotterdam

Throw your weekend plans overboard, because a visit to this (karaoke) bar should be done as soon as possible. This store is already a big hit in Utrecht and Amsterdam, and Rotterdam should of course not be missing from that list. Great: weeks of worrying about what you are going to do for your birthday are over, because you can book a private room here to sing karaoke for hours with your friends. If that isn't a successful party, we don't know what is. Do you prefer to keep your singing skills to yourself? You can also join then Duke of Tokyo justifiably. Just for a drink or to dance hard.

De of Duke of Tokyo are without a doubt the karaoke rooms. You can rent this for four or five (twenty!) people. And everything in between. While one room is decorated with fish, the other is covered with colorful flowers or a cool skyline. The price starts at €16 per person, and then you can scream your lungs out for two hours (or hit the notes with an angelic voice). Make sure you get there on time, because more people want to rock out to Say My Name by Destiny's Child, Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield or Baby by Justin Bieber. At least we do.

The cool prints, secret rooms and narrow alleys make this location a very special bar, which has quickly become our favorite. Don't feel like singing, but want to dance or just catch up with a nice drink? Don't worry, they have also thought of that at Duke of Tokyo. Great for us Rotterdammers: this is the first location that will also serve food. Alternate your wine or beer with a Japanese Sake or one of the special cocktails. That's how you'll get through the evening. And you might end up with a microphone in your hands later in the evening. Tip: order the Hirosaki Martini or Asuka Old Fashioned.
