Goose Market, New York
De Chelsea Market, on the border of the Chelsea and Meatpacking District, has been the place for one for years take-awaylunch to enjoy at the (free) Highline, the park that runs across the city, built on an old railway line - no one takes anything away from that and new restaurants still regularly open in the hall, which honestly makes staying in more and more attractive (there is a fantastic wine and rag bar, about in the middle left).
But, okay, just as long ago, a new, slightly cheaper food market opened further down the road, the Goose Market. Admittedly, the quality lags behind that of the Chelsea Market, but it is fun to walk in. Perfect for pizza, ice cream and tacos. Goose Market
