Hot off the press: opened last week (we say and write end of July 2021). Gastrobar Die Twee its doors in the heart of Bemelen (that is in Limburg, on the edge of the Maas Valley just east of Maastricht). Well... Doors... We have them. a few doors, but above all it is a wonderful outdoor spot, that new Gastrobar Die Twie. If you want to enjoy delicious dishes, great wines and specialty beers in an attractive environment, then you have come to the right place. A nice, uncomplicated and simply very nice place to relax with friends, family or partner. And that's just around the corner from always good Maastricht. Go, go, go!
You may have already guessed it, but 'the two' literally stands for the two guys behind the restaurant. Because what's in a name, right? Peter-Jan Baarda and Philippe Gijselaers are the owners who would like to share the particularly beautiful spot of the business with you. Together they created a place where you want to spend the necessary hours of pleasure. Trust us. And… The menu is mouth-watering. How about burrata with grilled vegetables, bavette of beef, ravioli and more goodies? We are already fan. Plus points are that the menu changes every quarter, so that it fits in nicely with the seasons. And the kids have also been taken into account, because the children can enjoy poffertjes, fries or a tasty sandwich with peanut butter or chocolate spread. Double plus points that you can enjoy the dishes on the terrace with a view over the Bemelerheide. So what's not to like? Exactly.
