Halvandet

Halvandet (pronounced hell-ennel) is the place to be in Copenhagen during the summer months. Here you can relax with your offspring, chill, lounge, swim and play a bit in the sand or kick a ball. It seems like a pretty hip affair, but it's super accessible. Whether you lie down on one of the beautiful white lounge beds, grab a beach chair or enjoy a delicious lunch on the terrace: everyone is welcome and there is a pleasant summer atmosphere. You can also splash in the water from the side or enjoy the view from the other side where the center of Copenhagen is located. People with their own boats also moor comfortably and come for a drink. Halvandet is located on the famous Papir Island, also called Rafshaleøen, which is easily accessible by yellow harbor boat that stops there or by Flyvefisk taxi or bus. You can also get there by bike or car via Christianshavn. Halvandet
