First there was House of Small Wonder in New York (Brooklyn and Williamsburg to be precise). And you definitely want to go there for breakfast, lunch, drinks or brunch. Good news because HOSW opened a second branch much closer to home; in Berlin, in a quiet street around the corner from the always nice Friedrichstrasse, in the middle of Mitte. The atmosphere is exactly like in Williamsburg: hippie-chic-relaxed with lots of wood, plants and sunlight everywhere (if available, of course) through the high windows. On the menu what we like: tacos, eggs, croissants with nutella and mini sandwiches to order (much) more than 1 and all with a Japanese swung. House of Small Wonder
