Hoxton number two in Amsterdam in the Eastern Docklands
We'll just repeat it again: we're fans of it Hoxton hotels. There are locations all over the world (London, Paris, New-York, Rome., LA, just to name a few) and of course there is one in our own capital. A? Uuuuh, two! The Hoxton in Amsterdam has been a success since 2015, so there will be another one in Amsterdam from 2023. The second location is the Eastern Docklands. Hurrah! Hoxton number two in Amsterdam, in the Eastern Docklands.
We like to hang out in Amsterdam East anyway. There is no other neighborhood in Amsterdam that has changed so much over the past ten years, towards a mix of modern architecture, surrounded by lots of water and greenery with good restaurants.
Look, the ideal place for The Hoxton. Internal design studio Ennismore Design Studio in collaboration with Nicemakers (a local design studio) is responsible for transforming the Lloyd Hotel into a Hoxton. The history of the old building will of course be preserved, but the building will be given a new lease of life. With monumental architectural details, as we have come to expect from Hoxton.
The hotel also has no fewer than 136 bedrooms, a nice lobby and restaurant on the ground floor, a large outdoor terrace and a meeting and event room.
