If you follow me a bit here on the site or on social media, then it can come as no surprise that I am crazy about everything from Numero 74 (did you know that the owner and her offspring Ibiza lives? is so). Crazy about seriously everything, including the hydrophilic cloths from the label. This is due to two things: firstly, the perfect use of color in what comes out of the Numero 74 tube. The ocher yellow is just deep enough, the gray tones are just soft enough, the white is either really bright white or just the right beige-esque (without yellow) and I want what is Numero 74 blue. The second is the cuddliness factor: so far I have not come across a brand that has softer fabrics. Not one. Even the muslin cloths are and remain beautiful and cuddly. The bobbin and stitching make everything feel so chic. Costs a bit, yes, that's true, but they are my most cherished pieces (in white, raspberry and gray). I'm still looking for ocher, but I always buy it from my favorite supplier Archive Store (everything is made by hand so the supply is not endless).

Since I left Maud Ibiza I would like to have every pillow, every rug and every rag at home indigo blue, and preferably in batik. You can get started yourself with a bucket, elastic and paint... But pfff. The idea alone. No, we prefer to shop at the Dutch, all organic en all cozy Boro Mini. The cloths are extra large and therefore perfect cover up for another stain on the sofa that you haven't yet removed, and they are 'open woven' so they breathe well. Side step: I always get a little unhappy when I see strollers passing by with a thick cloth that is secured with clamps. Yes, I understand: you keep your little one out of the sun and protect him/her from the light and I don't know what else (exhaust fumes or something?) but on a hot day just hang your head under the hood after a run... There are also, for example, special sun visors for your car that allow air to pass through. If you prefer a cloth, go with this one. Oh yes, thanks to the size, the cloths also function as a spontaneous picnic blanket.

The French (from Paris with love) tag Rose in April doesn't have a lot of choice, but what they do have comes in a lovely print. White with bambi. Blue with octopuses. Yellow with foxes. The material is slightly thinner than, for example, the cloths from Numero 74, and therefore slightly less cuddly. However, like Boro Mini, they are more air permeable.

The brand also has very nice beach bathrobes/blankets with hoods in the same colors and prints. Those perfect sundresses for when your little one comes running out of them. You didn't get it from us.

And that, the cost-picture story above, made me scroll again to Mama Loes's garish, not-so-stylish site. Less fancy perhaps, but we have a lot of them! And everything is super fast and completely neat in the house. In short: it is our go to site when there are things that simply have to be done. But things that should be beautiful can also be beautiful, and the Cotton Baby cloths have already been put in the basket here: we have the ocher yellow (not as perfect as Numero 74, but then we are tinkering) and the light gray, both very beautiful (we also have the mint green one, but it is not as beautiful in color as the other two).
