Mallorca without kids, that's also a good plan. And then we sleep at ICON Valparaiso by Petit Palace
Sometimes you find the best/nicest/most good looking hotels while you unsuspectingly explore the location. And so this happened and we stumbled upon it ICON Valparaiso by Petit Palace, an adults only hotel - and a place - in the corner of Mallorca where you can find the tastiest seriously easy going beaches. Right, the east coast.
There is peace and quiet, there is space, there is a real pillow service (yes, test your pillow, how wonderful), the bed is wonderful and grrrroottt, you can walk straight into one of the most wonderful bays, the hotel is small-scale (nice !), but not so small that you constantly have to chat with fellow guests (sorry, but that's always a bit of work on holiday) and the fresh breakfast is fantastically healthy and, alleluia, really creative. The interior is dipped in beige wood tones with white linen (delicious) and you actually go into chill mode as soon as you take one step over the threshold. Ha. Holiday. Without screaming kids, because they can't get in. Okay, that's nice sometimes, isn't it?
