Hotel, recovery, boutique B&B Oltrarno Splendid can be found a stone's throw from the compact center of beautiful Italian Florence - another plus. In the shelter but still close to everything. The place was created by the team behind SoprArno and the beautiful AdAstra. That may not mean anything to you, but connoisseurs and the so-called 'early adapters' know exactly where to find the eclectic boutique with a view of the largest private garden in Europe. That, all that hip beauty, was combined with typical Florentine hospitality. The breakfast buffet is filled with a selection of prosciutto, local cheeses and freshly baked rolls, all included in the (not so affordable) room rate.

In the lounge, maps from the 18th century adorn the walls, while bespoke furniture, an ornamental ceiling and a plethora of stylized antics make the place both eclectic and cohesive – strikingly so. Different from everything else and yet not a high threshold, and that's great Oltrarno Splendi. In a nutshell? Contemporary style with old-world elegance.
