Whether you fancy a coffee with something tasty, a full breakfast or a delicious bowl of soup, Coffeebar Adriaan is the place to be. Located in an old bank building from 1832 and with a neoclassical interior, you can imagine yourself 100 years back in time. Among the 'regular visitors' there are also quite a few tables occupied by students who act almost intelligent with their book - instead of a mobile phone, a relief - in their hands. And that gives a cosy atmosphere. The menu is full of tasty things and the coffee is good.

To watch the specialty coffee For coffee lovers, there is We Are Coffee Makers. They won the 'best coffee maker' award coffee roastery' of Benelux. The place has just been completely renovated a year ago and the baristas know their trade. Here too, there is a friendly atmosphere and that led to a pleasant conversation with two American tourists and a Swiss expat who lived in Bruges. The prices are a bit on the high side - as is often the case with specialty coffee – but the atmosphere more than makes up for it.

We Are Coffee Makers – Academiestraat 8 Bruges

Let's start with the bad news: the coffee and matcha were not special. The rest of the menu, on the other hand, was nicely expanded with eggs, pancakes, various yoghurts, sandwiches, hot dishes and snacks. Kaffee Kamiel is a beautiful, large place with a terrace. A bit commercial, but that fits with an extensive kitchen. Here you will find something to eat for everyone and you sit there cozy.
