Just outside the center of Utrecht, in the pleasant Lombok district (where all students and freelancers seem to live) you will find Koffie & Ik. A regular spot for many of those students and freelancers, because of WiFi, excellent coffee and a relaxed atmosphere, thanks to the always cheerful and friendly staff. The interior is simple and minimalist. An old wooden floor, wooden tables and lots of white. As if you imagine yourself in a coffee bar in Scandinavia. Nice workplace - there are large windows and it is very light. Plus, they open at eight o'clock, so it's also an option for the early birds. Also a great place for a morning of reading the newspaper or an afternoon of coffee and cake (the carrot cake and banana bread are favorites). Oh, and the sourdough bread with cream cheese and avocado. You want that too. Coffee & Me

Ps. For when the sun shines again: at Koffie & Ik you can sit in the sun all day (on nice chairs that we also want at home).
