Is it just us or are we starting campinglife find something more 'attractive'? Although we secretly know why: all those campsites in our own country are becoming more and more beautiful, and (a little or a lot of) luxury is increasingly included in the total package. Carrying way too much and way too heavy stuff, sweating out of your tent in the blazing sun and... the walk of shame (that's what we call it: crossing the grounds with the toilet roll): that period is no more. Thank goodness. At least, then you have to be in the right place, at the right campsite. In the summer of 2020, (what's in a name) was published on the beach of Camperduin Laguna Beach Glamping. One that deserves its own eulogy. The Laguna Beach Family Camps can now be found in various locations in hidden and unexpected places. And we just like that, because it means adventure. And let's love that. The glamping will land in Putten in the summer of 2021: Laguna beach Corfwater. A real Dutch surf pop-up. Literally ON and ON the beach. A whole holiday long viva la fiesta with the whole family. We dare to take a chance on that...
Somewhere between the Pettemer Dunes, a Dutch lagoon (so beautiful) will pop up this year. Here you feel just like Brooke Shields in the role of Emmeline Lestrange (you know when you know). You've come to the right place: Laguna Beach Glamping in Camperduin is your temporary home. You can sleep in one of those fantastic yurts or a typical tent (nicely, as you might expect, a cozy teepee). Fortunately, there is also a lot to do. For young and old. For example, you can do sunset SUPing (which suddenly makes SUPing fun), wave surfing, yoga, longboarding and... We, not so secretly, find it the most fun of all (and already a reason in principle to visit Laguna Beach Camps) : an outdoor beach cinema is being built! How nice!
Finally, there's something about the name 'glamping' that doesn't quite work. Feels a bit like only showpieces are welcome. It's a shame because Laguna Beach is exactly what you are looking for - plus more - behind glamorous camping. It works like this: Laguna Beach is the implementation of the creative brain behind the festival producer The Good Guyz. 'Plus more' may be said, because Laguna Beach is not just a glamping site, but a real surfing village with all the trimmings. After all, smart guys like The Good Guyz have connections and know who to turn to for a great concept. That concept came about: in collaboration with entrepreneurs from the activities, culture and hospitality sectors, the pop-up surf village was created where families can go 'happy camping' in their own country.
