Stameren estate – lovely holiday home in the middle of nature (Utrechtse Heuvelrug)
Pretty difficult. Finding a nice place with space (hello large families), but not on the other side of the country. Well, here is your answer. Stameren estate is located in central Netherlands, on the popular Utrechtse Heuvelrug. A delight for large families who want to experience nature.
When you approach Stameren Estate, a green oasis approaches you. This wonderful holiday home is surrounded by nature with all the fun that comes with it. Prepare yourself for all kinds of animals in the “garden" such as various bird species, foxes, badgers and hares. Chickens roam next to the house: hello fresh eggs!
The house can accommodate 6 people, including a master bedroom. Possibly a fold-out sofa for more people. In addition to the wonderfully spacious bedroom, there is also a children's room with a Huge bunk bed, so two kids can sleep downstairs and one more upstairs. Whoa, you'll have that covered in no time.
In addition, Roos (owner) is prepared for everything; If there is a baby, there is a crib, high chair, etc. available.
On holiday and less luxurious than at home? Certainly not the case at Landgoed Stameren. Roos & Daan have provided a luxurious kitchen (hello dishwasher) and have provided the house with every luxury. There is also a claw-foot bath, where you can scrub yourself wonderfully clean after a day in the woods.
There is also plenty to do in the area, if you can leave the nice house. There are various walking/cycling tours in the area. Henschotermeer with blue swimming water and play equipment for the children is also just around the corner. Fancy a city and more like that? Both Utrecht and Amersfoort are a 20-minute drive away.
If those aren't going to be nice days, we don't know what will.
