Favorite in the Norrmalm district is the food hall K25. A large hall with several stands where you can get everything from falafel to tofu bowl and burgers.
Around 12 o'clock the hall is often full of Swedes who escape the office during their break and enjoy a well-deserved lunch.
And rightly so, because not only are you sitting there comfortably, there is also enough choice and therefore something for everyone. Ideal if you are with a larger group.

Hotorgshallen is, just like K25, a kind of market hall (saluhall in Swedish) with all kinds of wonderful places where you can sit down for lunch. But in this hall you can also get goodies for home, such as chocolate, coffee, cheese and fish.
Recommendations? The bowls at Keemchi, the citizens of Turkiska Delikatesser and the windows Tokyo Ramen are to die for.

For anyone who loves falafel just as much: go to Ta'ameya. As far as I'm concerned, they make the best falafel sandwiches in town here. The fresh pitas are soft and creamy, the falafel is crispy and tasty and the toppings complete it completely.
Don't feel like having a sandwich? Also good. Then you just order the falafel salad. Just as tasty. Oh, and don't forget to add sweet potato fries. Tip of flip.

At Banacado it's all about, you can already feel it coming, the banana and the avocado. With bowls, sandwiches, salads and banana bread (how could it be otherwise) you can go here for both lunch and breakfast.
Everything at Banacado is plant-based, organic, gluten-free and sugar-free. Sounds boring? Think again. Banacado strives to serve only healthy dishes that not only taste good, but also look magical. And she's doing well.
They hide all kinds of superfoods in their dishes, such as acai, lucuma and matcha, to boost not only your body but also your mind. Want to bet you'll leave the shop with a broad smile?
Tip: be on time, because the shop is open until 15pm (and closed on Sundays and Mondays).

Good fries were difficult to find in Stockholm, until the Pom Friterie opened its doors. Founded by two Dutchmen who missed exactly what they are making now in the Swedish capital: good fries.
Pom Friterie is a snack bar, but different. You eat your fries in a lively bar setting where the DJ plays live records for you.
Combine your fries with bites or sides and drink one of the cocktails, wines, beers or bubbles (or a Dutch kopstootje). Top it off with a delicious dessert (or another cocktail) and you can enjoy it all afternoon. Promise.

I wouldn't be surprised if you join À la Lo plop down, look at the menu and actually want to order everything. This vegan spot is a classic lunch and brunch spot in Stockholm and is regularly packed.
You will find classics, such as toast with avo, croques and pain perdu, but also signature dishes, such as the frozen banana yogurt (with killer granola) or risgrynsgröt (rice porridge).
The perfect spot for anyone who likes lunch with breakfast. Oh, and the coffee is also excellent.

If you say bread then you say Stora Bageriet. At this bakery you get the best baked goods, from bullars to rolls and granola,
Go for one of the well-filled sandwiches, a grilled sandwich, delicious soup or salad or a classic Swedish smörrebröd. Plenty of choice.
And don't forget to have dessert in the form of a kanelbullar, wienerbröd, choklad och nöttosca or one of the other delicious baked goods that scream your name from the display case.

Kale & Crave is a business with three locations throughout Stockholm. Founded with the goal of making delicious food that is also good for you.
And that worked. The salads at Kale & Crave are filling, tasty and packed with healthy ingredients. And all without sugar, dairy and gluten. Ideal for anyone with an allergy.
The place itself is not very exciting, but luckily the food is. Tip: take your salad to-go on a nice day and find a nice spot in the park at the end of the street.

Korv is the Swedish word for sausage. Can you guess what you can go to Brunos Korvbar for? A delicious Swedish sausage sandwich.
The sausage comes in a crispy yet soft bun with sauerkraut (or potato salad) and just the right sauce (we're still not sure what it is exactly).
Order one or two (tip: more = definitely better here) or go for a sausage as a snack on a small sandwich. You can also do well here as a vegan or vegetarian. My recommendation? The farmer's vegetarian with red lentils, red beans and herbs.

Rosendals Trädgård is a party, to say the least. This large garden including greenhouse in the middle of Djurgården park is the perfect escape from the city. As soon as the sun shines, you can sit here in the garden. Doesn't it shine? Then you will be dry and warm in the greenhouse.
But not only the location is good, the concept is too. You walk past a table filled with goodies (it's difficult not to be tempted to take a fresh bullar or tårta) and choose what you want to eat. And, you have free coffee and tea refills here - in Swedish style.

Another hotshot for the falafel lovers among us: Falloumi. On a wrap or in a salad, as a bite or preferably in a pita, with Falloumi the falafel goes in all directions.
But don't worry if you don't like chickpeas, they also serve other (colorful!) dishes full of vegetables, beans and dips. And don't forget: sweet potato fries.
Take one look at the Instagram page and you will - most likely - be sold immediately. Join us, order a nice natural wine and start your afternoon well.

At Cyckelcafé Le Mond you can enjoy breakfast, brunch and lunch from early morning until late afternoon.
The café offers a wide choice of dishes, but also tasty pastries and croissants. Gröt, pancakes, toast or salads, there is something for everyone.
And any worries if you arrive with your bicycle, they are completely tolerated in the bicycle café.
