Malibu Farm Los Angeles
For a city that is largely known for its endless beaches, it is somewhat strange that there are not many beach bars. You know, like in our own Holland (less known for the beach life but secretly with more than nice beach barsculture). That probably has something to do with permits, or the fact that people are simply used to the lack of them. It's a shame. Because we want to eat by the water. And if you want that (yes) then there are good things to be done on the water. In Malibu (where else) and not just at the well-known Nobu.
In comes Malibu Farm, located on the Malibu Pier. White colored, blue tinted, tasty honest plates and a view over the steps to the beach deep into the sea. A dream.
Sitting both outside and inside Slash lounge is available at both The Cafe and The Restaurant. From early morning to late evening.
Bonus tip: there's definitely a line on weekends. A reservation is recommended for dinner. If you want to have lunch, it would be wise to arrive at Malibu Farm around 11.30 am, start with a drink and then move on.
