Me time or a moment for yourself, without too much hassle, and above all: without a coach? It's possible!
A number of kids (feels like 300), a job/your own company/different clients, a nice social life, you also want to see your parents... But where do you fit in? Being busy all the time is no longer cool, everyone knows that (right? No? Here we go!). Help! Because how do we do that, not be busy? Usually this only works after careful planning and a lot of hassle.
Or can it be done differently? Yes! You really don't have to retreat to the toilet for that Not Now moment. Things can really be different. With this simple one me time hacks for example.
Also grab these: natural ways to boost your resistance during the (and after the) Corona pandemic (because always important).
Yes, we also consider ourselves too sober to meditate, but did you know that meditating actually means nothing more than taking a moment for yourself? Is so. This is very difficult to do, but you can also just sit on the couch or chair with nothing at all (no book, no phone, no TV – NOTHING) for 10 minutes. And then nothing. Just nothing. No music, no tape recorded by a vague coach, no breathing exercises. Just. Absolutely. Nothing. 10 minutes. Just do it. It calms you down. Promise.
When then? If you get up a little earlier, you can easily create a moment for yourself in the morning. Yes, that includes sleeping, but still... 10 minutes of nothing and then having a leisurely undisturbed breakfast, reading a blog or reading a few pages from your book is a really good start to the day.
Sounds simple but definitely the best lifehack the (too) busy everyday life requires making choices (no is indeed also an answer) and then planning everything. That work job from 10.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m., then you only email from 11.00 a.m. to 12.00 a.m. and so on. What that also includes is scheduling time for yourself. For that walk or sports lesson. Yes, even that juice, that 10 minutes of Nothing at all, that early wake up…. Plan everything. Sounds like a task, but once you get started, you will notice that – after the first setbacks and high hurdles, really – it automatically becomes a second nature. And then you're on the agenda, just like a date with friends, an outing with your lover, a visit to the nail salon (if that's your thing) or, of course, a date with yourself. You, yourself and you. Plan it.
It starts with planning a mini ritual for yourself. And stick to it… (so saying 'no' when something else comes along – that's the hardest part). For example, by drinking a juice every day at a fixed time (note: that fixed time is important because otherwise you wouldn't do it). Preferably not just any juice, but one that makes your body and mind happy. Frecious has such. Consider the Celery Slim, Unbeetable Chocolate and the Daily Digest. Dthey consist of 70%, 85% and sometimes even 100% vegetables (juice). And do you want a quick boost? Then try the beauty & brain elixirs from Frecious. Two little miracle bottles that give your skin and brain a big boost boost give. Two in 1, that sounds like winning and it is!

A person has to eat, right? That much is certain. And we think we are almost certain that you do this quickly, with one hand on the stove, the other with the kids, perhaps an eye on the TV and some laundry in between while the pot is simmering. We understand and that's how it goes. But what helps is to plan one day a week (see, there's that planning again) to really cook. Make sure someone else takes care of the children, put an audio book in your ears and continue cutting the peppers, washing the potatoes and so on. We can tell you that it is extremely meditative. And it also benefits you: a delicious meal!
And yes, we have something for that: Barts Cookbook. And also check this list: cookbooks that are really useful to you (and otherwise they look nice in the cupboard).
And this one: the best podcasts. Also nice during a walk in your up.
