Perfect holiday home for eight people: MORE B&B, Ouddorp
Drive towards the south of South Holland until you think you can go no further. Then go a little further and you are in Ouddorp, or the home front of MORE B&B Ouddorp. Owner Karlijn followed her heart years ago and moved from the Randstad to Ouddorp. A family was founded and a B&B set up with the wisdom in mind that we always want more while we already have 'more'. The name of the B&B was therefore a no brainer and the result tastes like, you can feel it coming: more!
In the B&B you will find two family rooms under one roof, each with its own entrance. One room is sunny yellow and the other a calmer green. Everything has been thought about; There is no TV, but there are games so that there is more focus on each other. Always good. The rooms have everything except a kitchen, which means you have to eat out (but when has that ever been a 'must'? Exactly). You all sleep together, literally, in an enormous bed with a width of almost three meters. Lots of fun, but all that space is of course also nice if there are just the two of you. So think carefully about who you bring with you. But then we are only talking about the B&B. There is more… (read on!).
As of January 2021, MORE house was added, a house full of wood and Dutch Design with room for eight people. The garden is six hundred square meters and all this is within walking distance of the beach. What more could you want?
In this house you will find (well ;)) a lovely kitchen (with island and bar) to hang out. A decent-sized table that can accommodate as many people as fit in the house, a seating area with a fireplace for the winter and that six hundred square meter garden (here too a fireplace plus table and a nice lounge) for the spring and summer months. The house also has three bedrooms under the gabled roof. How can eight people continue to sleep, you may think? Karlijn thinks in 'cosy' solutions and this room also has, in addition to two bedrooms with a double bed each, a huge four-person bed.
Just like in the B&B, you will not find a television here, but you will find a cupboard packed with games. There is also climbing equipment in the front garden for the offspring and the building box can also be left at home. Everything has been thought of: right down to the antique coffee cups and filter coffee, all of which are concealed in the terrazzo style kitchen.
And then discover Ouddorp and the surrounding area, of course. On your left flank you move to the beach of Goeree-Overflakkee and on your right you dive into the small (but really worth it) Ouddorp center. And while you're there: Zierikzee en Middelburg are also around the corner.
