First of all we have just been mercilessly influenced by this: The Solution. A powder, we read, that wrinkles like snow in the sun (sort of speaking) disappears. Yep, that's what we thought too. It will. Until it came up very often and we heard first-hand, and this is an important one, from a number of The Solution users we hold in high regard that it really works. When a knowledgeable colleague (read: with a study on powders, E, D, and hop numbers) also indicated that she really could not detect any harmful ingredients, we changed tack. The Solution you say? But yes. We explain: Oslo Skin Lab is a Norwegian brand (what did it give away?) that developed beauty supplements with a proven effect. The Solution is the first product available in the Netherlands.

The main thing you should know about this is that The Solution is a 'hydrolyzed collagen' from beef. It is extracted from residual material - skin and cartilage - that comes from the food industry. Important: no animals are killed for this product, but it is therefore not suitable for vegans/vegetarians! Now we are not scientists, not at all, and we have to take the people at Oslo Skin Lab at their word that everything is great. They understand that too, and so they share on the site all the extensive independent scientific research that has been done on this specific collagen. However, the colleague mentioned earlier cannot be easily told this and delved into the matter: her desk research - long story short - did not yield any objections.

So we believe the Osloers with their Scandinavian blue eyes and tell us further: collagen has a proven effect on skin firmness, skin texture, the depth of wrinkles and the visibility of cellulite. In short, the collagen used by Oslo Skin Lab for The Solution works because it is bioactive and hydrolyzed. This means, in Jip & Janneke language, that it is broken down into protein chains that are actually absorbed by your body and that have a positive effect on your skin. There are several types of collagen on the market, but this one has produced solid studies and visible before-after results. What we, as said, have also heard firsthand from friends and acquaintances who have already made the switch. We have now been taking it for 2,5 weeks - to be continued!

After 4 weeks, wrinkles decrease by an average of 7%, after 8 by 20%. After 4 months the results are (usually) really visible, but please note: it varies from person to person how long it takes before you see results.
