Pavilion Flonk, Groningen
To be fair, here in Groningen we are generally quite down-to-earth and even a bit skeptical. About absolutely everything. All clichés indeed, they are true. Even when a new restaurant opens. You know the well-known “first see-then-believe” idea. But this, Pavilion Flonk in Groningen, is really one that makes us enthusiastic. Believe me: on to Paviljoen Flonk (but you can read on first, I bet you will be convinced!).
Pavilion Flonk, Groningen is located on the Oldambtmeer, about 30 km from the city of Groningen, and Flonk provides the ultimate holiday feeling there. And that's what you want. And good food of course. You want that too. And a good drink. And if possible, also nice and attentive staff. Check!
Lunch? Drinks? Dinner? We haven't yet decided what we prefer to do there, but it is a fact that we enjoy coming there. Speaking of that last fact: you can reach it Pavilion Flonk Even by boat: there are plenty of mooring places. For when you are really in holiday mode.
Extra bonus points? Yes, there absolutely are. The staff is not stressed by a toddler running around. In fact, they have a real one kids-drink board. Tried and tested.
