Traveling to the south of our country - and something different from the ever well-known Maastricht - in the green surroundings of Grashoek (North Limburg) you will find this picking and tea garden called 'In the 7th heaven'. Here you will find everything a dreamy picking garden needs. By our standards then. So let's go, on to North Limburg.
The picking and tea garden in the 7th heaven is located in Grashoek, a tiny village in North
Limburg. An end of the world feeling, we would say. Just when you think you are lost on all those winding roads through the green Limburg landscape, you reach this picking garden - far away from civilization. In de 7 th heaven started in 2014 with ideological principles and has now grown into a real paradise. Lush orchards, flower and fruit picking gardens: all this is ready for you here. The nice thing about a picking garden is of course being able to pick it yourself. For the measly amount of 3 euros you can pick everything with a woven wicker basket in your hand. That sounds as fun as it is. Take a look at the large wooden sign at the entrance to see which fruit is ripe for picking voilà: child can do the laundry.
Speaking of those minis: they also get their money's worth here. From a large play hill
where they can climb and clamber to water and sand to play with. The picking garden has many crawl-and-sneak paths, which children continue to love. As a parent, you can enjoy an organic wine with your face in the sun. Where you hear nothing but birds and buzzing bees, the flora and fauna at its best. These holiday homes were built in an old pigsty but have been converted into real overnight accommodations with all the luxury of today, including a wonderful box spring. Would you rather embrace nature in its entirety? Hot off the press (opened in May 2024) is the camper park 'in the 7th heaven'. With 15 pitches - half of which are walk-in, wonderful - all located in nature. You roll straight from your bed into the woods for a morning walk. When you return it says - if you wish – a breakfast basket ready for you from I-have-you-there.
