This is how you deal with rain at your wedding

One of the biggest nightmares of bridal couples: rain on your wedding. Shame actually! Of course we all prefer bright sunshine, but there is romance in rain. Plus it gives a splashy effect to your photos. Isn't that ironic?

As much as we want to have everything under control in detail, the weather remains out of our hands. And that's actually nice, because it's a small one reminder not to want to check and plan everything. The most important lesson in rain at your wedding? Let go and enjoy the moment with a big smile. A little rain can loosen this up perfectly, so look for the in rain. Because there is. Real! Okay, let's go: provided you're a little prepared, of course.

Stylish umbrellas

Provide stylish umbrellas, both for your guests and for yourself. These clear umbrellas look great in photos! Hand them out when the guests arrive, so that all umbrellas form a beautiful (and not flashy) whole.

Rain as an atmospheric element

Are you (almost) certain that it will rain at your wedding? Take advantage of the rain by adjusting your location accordingly. How about a romantic greenhouse or see through tent? This way you still have the feeling of being outside and the romantic tapping of the water on the roof.

A nice fresh-up inside

It's always nice to freshen up, especially if the weather isn't good. Waterproof mascara is of course not an unnecessary luxury. Make sure that your guests have enough space, for example in the toilets or another separate room, and that there are nice facilities for a little one touch up. Think of towels, a hair dryer, brushes, etc.

Wedding Wellies

If there is a chance of rain, it is advisable to have a nice pair of rain boots in addition to your nice footwear. This way you don't have to worry about ruining them after wearing them once. You can do this one dress code of course also extend to your guests. You can always hide it under your dress, but we prefer to make one statement by. Rain boots under a tight suit or chic dress: we like!

Let it go

We said it before: let go! Enjoy the romantic effect that the rain gives and do not sink into disappointment or frustration. You will see that the rain makes everyone loosen up a bit. This day is all about your love, not even rain can ruin that.
