Vega(n)s walk in a circle The Double Red Duke away, carnivores rush in. Steak is the name here chef's special. The meat is prepared over an open fire by Richard Turner and Richard Sandiford, the Double Dukes. Before you sink your teeth into that steak, don't forget some starters to share to order. Because why would you choose when you can just order anything? Flatbread with goat cheese, honey and herbs, scallops with garlic, grilled fish… nothing wrong. Neither does the interior full of red leather and green velvet.

On Tuesdays and Wednesdays you can opt for a special typing menu, the other days you order from the menu.
At MUSE Brasserie French and Asian cuisine come together in Cheltenham. Here, French chef Franck Grillet and Indian chef Pramot join forces to exceed guests' expectations. That usually works, because the interior alone makes you want to eat at MUSE. Blue walls filled with endless bottles of wine, blossom branches hanging from the ceiling, and powder pink velvet chairs. Although there is meat and fish on the menu, the majority of the dishes are vegan or vegetarian.
The Wild Rabbit is an 18th century pub with cottage in Kingham. Some renovations have been made over the years, but the atmosphere and food have never diminished. Organic is a term that is used by a lot of restaurants these days, and it is not always justified, but at The Wild Rabbit it is. And not because it happens to be hip: they have been taking the environment into account for years. Fruit and vegetables come from the organic Daylesford market garden a little further away and the meat comes from farmers in Staffordshire. With all that they make fine dining dishes, combined with wines selected by sommeliers to match the food.
There is not much to do in the village of Crudwell. Still, it is worth to visit the place, at The Potting Shed Pub you want to have been. The menu changes monthly because the focus is on local seasonal dishes, but classics such as black pudding and the Potting Shed burger usually remain on the menu. If possible, visit us on Sunday, because... Sunday roasts served at The Potting Shed, many restaurants can still learn a lot.
