If you really, really really really want to enjoy Danish Design and authentic Danish dishes to the fullest, then you really (really really really) have to go to Royal Smushi Cafe visit. Smushi indeed, with an M after the S. So no sushi. That it is clear.

Only from the design of the Royal Smushi Café already makes you happy: one step over the threshold and it's like you've entered an Instagram feed. The handsome and also more than nice, cozy tent is hidden in one of the most famous shopping streets of Copenhagen, Strøget, and is housed - a bit hidden - between 2 (also very nice) shops, Georg Jensen and the Disney store.

But the café is not to be missed thanks to the cozy terrace in front of the shop where you can enjoy a snack and a drink in the summer in peace and quiet, yet right in the center.

Because that's what you always come for, besides the stunning looks, for food and drinks. Breakfast and brunch are especially popular, but if you just want to order a Danish sandwich, you're in the right place. Bonus points are given to the restaurant because everything is served on Royal Copenhagen tableware, Georg Jensen cutlery on the side. You can't get it more Danish. Although not at all old-fashioned. We like.
