No, not something out of a futuristic science fiction movie, the mirrorcube really exists. For those concerned about the local poultry: the cube is covered with a foil that is invisible to us, which prevents the flying birds from flying hard into the mirror wall. Well, yet another reason to pack your bags and travel to Sweden.
Arctic TreeHouse Hotel has a clever mix of luxurious comfort in the Arctic nature, local Lappish traditions and modern Scandinavian design. They have three different options here. Number one is the Arctic Treehouse Suite. In short, a house high in the trees, with a damn beautiful view. Modern and sleek on the outside, warm and cozy on the inside. Boutique Resort Life is Good is a B&B Slash boutique hotel with several detached hotel suites, including a tree suite. In a huge oak tree, at a height of about four meters, you can sit (surprisingly) comfortably. Because the fact that we go up does not mean that we give up luxury (hello sauna, rain shower, roof terrace, spacious garden, kitchenette and wifi). You only have to leave the nest for a nice meal. In the area you can eat delicious food, our recommendation? Proeffabriek in Veghel. You come there not only to satisfy your hunger with the whole lot, but also to taste art, culture and one of the many events (if they go ahead) that are organized there.
There is little mention of a lack of space Avontyr – you can fit 26 people (!) in the tree houses. Yes, you read that correctly. If you have a very large family or are blessed with an even larger group of friends, you will have to scramble to fill the beds. In addition to this space, the tree houses (including terrace and campfire pit) are really great, even for anyone over the age of ten. Wake up to birdsong at high altitude among the trees. Sounds a bit frumpy? True, but it's really a lot of fun. More in the mood for water? Former box factory Loading factories is a picture on the west coast of the country. The house consists of four rooms, each with its own bathroom. Want to drop everything and broaden your horizons? In comes a trip to Norway. You can find fresh air in more places, but what about the Northern Lights? That's one of those things you just have to see. lucky you, there it is Base Camp Hotel. This cozy wooden hotel (in a prime location!) even has a glass-roofed room to admire the nighttime light, but it's also the perfect base for an excursion (or two). Can that be crossed off the list? Sleeping in modern tree houses that put the stick-and-string tree house of yesteryear to shame, so beautiful are these versions of the 'tree house'.
