The Statens Museum for Art regularly has exhibitions for children. When the exhibitions are running, workshops for kids are organized - educational yes, and great fun. Certain topics (related to the exhibition) are discussed in more detail and every first Sunday of the month is Child-Friendly Sunday: you can do crafts and little ones can be mini artists! You can also have a children's party: the birthday boy and his/her friends get to dress up and get a tour of the museum and then they can do some crafts to their heart's content. Statens Museum for Art
