Looking for the freshest chicken in New York? Sweet Chick right in the epicenter of hip Brooklyn, New York: Bedford Street in Williamsburg. The business pioneered the street and has been popular since day one. And that's impressive, in a city where restaurants are old news as quickly as a salmon bagel. Not so Sweet Chick New York.
The idea: Southern cooking (it turns out to be a trends) in the shape of chicken and waffles in a rustic interior – think picnic tables, lots of wood and a mishmash on the walls. Naturally, uber-hip staff behind the counter and a top location, our beloved Bedford Avenue in Brooklyn. Yes, a classic is born.
UPDATE: in September 2019 we added new photos, taken by Michel from our BB team Michel + Renske: 6 years after we first joined in, we still think the place is worth recommending.
