Terrastival by Hemtuin (and yes, you want that this summer, trust us)
Terrace, festival, Amsterdam: 3 "things in life" that make us very happy. And so we suddenly bumped into something Terrace festival to: a Nailneu concept whereby terraces and festivals can be held as corona-proof as possible through all possible ingenious loopholes. Just unimportant: for and by the creative sector with big names such as Mystic Garden, Boom Chicago and Wicked Jazz Sounds. Where? Also nice: the terrastivalterein (hello hangman) is the Hemtuin. You know, on the Hembrug site, close to Amsterdam (but secretly). Zaandam).
What is possible? You can just go there. Entrance is free and there are 2000m2 (!!!) of terraces with bars and food trucks a la parade You can eat and drink with your belly full and your wallet empty. Because oh how happy we are that we can spend money on these kinds of things again!
There are also cool shows like one Theater Carousel and a light show from Dockyard (Skylar eat your heart out, if we can believe the stories). There is also a festival museum - we think it's funny - where you can get a taste of the real festival atmosphere that we are missing this year with Dixi's, DJ's, coins and other vicissitudes.
