On a road trip through southern Portugal? On the way along these nice places to sleep in the Algarve.
If you ask Google about Olhão, you will get the answer: “a city for people who love the authentic Portugal”. It's a good thing that we love it. We think the Algarve – or actually the whole of Portugal – is one of the tastiest places in Europe. The people are nice, the food is good and affordable, there is still a lot to discover and the climate is wonderful. If you surf, then you're all set. You fly to Faro for next to nothing – if possible with CO2 compensation of course. Rent a car there and explore.
