Vinzenz: the award-winning wine bar of South Tyrol

In the Italian village of Sterzing (or Vipiteno in Italian) in South Tyrol you will find the award-winning wine bar and slow food restaurant Vincent. The perfect place to relax after a long mountain hike or a day of skiing unwind with a glass of very good wine and Italian food with a refined twist. Here you will be taken care of down to the last detail.

This wine bar and enoteca (Italian for wine store) has a beautiful history. The wine bar is named after grandfather Vinzenz, who also ran a café and traditional “weinstube” between the same walls during the 60s to the 90s. The current owners, who also come from the same family, have transformed the historic building from the 15th century into a modern restaurant (and hotel) with beautiful Italian design.

Since 2010 they have taken over the torch and have grown into a culinary hotspot among the Italian mountains. They started with a simple bistro style and have grown into an award-winning one slow food restaurant with a very tasty Mediterranean cuisine. Think of Italian classics with a refined twist. Yum!

Of course the wine is central. Can you believe it? They have a mega range with approximately 900 different wines in their cellar. A dream for wine lovers among us! Can also be ordered by the glass!

What is often missing in many catering establishments, we believe, are the people and passion behind it. That's different here. The conviviality, good service, fresh food and the top selection of natural and organic wines from small wineries are what you will come back for.
