What they do, they do well. The team of Street Coffee handles everything carefully. Their first location in the city was an immediate hit, but careful consideration was given to a second location. It eventually settled in the toffee upcoming harbour. A wonderful spot where you can swim in the summer (in front of the door) and where you can dry off with a cup of coffee, a good croissant or a glass of wine later in the day.

By the way, we give that combination – pastry, coffee, wine – a 10, because there is nothing better than a place that offers all this all day long. You make your rules. And certainly on holiday.

Monk is also located in the nice harbor mentioned earlier, a 2-minute walk from the swimming harbour. The small building has plenty of cozy seating areas for a tasty breakfast or quick cup of coffee. In summer the morning light shines over a snow-covered harbor, but in summer you look out over a wonderfully lively bay.

At Monk they serve their own coffee, but all the goodies come from the bakery Berta. Another great tip in the south of Aarhus. A perfect stop if you are not in the center, or if you are driving out of the city. Do you have something to snag for the road?

Can we have a favorite? If that's allowed, it is Jumbo. Jumbo is all over the social media network with their baking art pictures - and for good reason.

Beautiful interior in their business, really good pastry and (to be honest) the tastiest sourdough breads. It is not surprising that the two locations are always full, busy and therefore pleasant.

In the summer you can take a seat at the picnic tables in front of the building. Sometimes extensive lunches or brunches are served; be sure to check them out for that social before you go.

Our enthusiasm for Kaj knows no boundaries. No matter how simplistic the concept, the execution is just as good. And again here too; wine, bread, coffee and everything in between, all day long.

On the outskirts of the city, in the south of Aarhus, you will find Kaj Kiosk. There you will not only find Kaj, but also many other nice restaurants and shops. Also don't miss the “infinity bridge” when you are in this part of Aarhus. You will find it a 5-minute drive away, making it an ideal combination.

Back to Kay. Kaj lives in a cozy beach house, as you are used to in Scandinavia. White, simple and cozy. You order at the bar and then choose a seat. Kaj is extra fun because you are really among the local Danes. BRANCH!
