Amo Brunch & Wine, Barcelona
At Amo Brunch & Wine in Barcelona you can go for brunch and lunch seven days a week wine. The place is small but nice, centrally located (less than a ten-minute walk from the Sagrada Familia) and serves something for everyone. Meat and vegetarian(s), healthy and just a little less healthy.
The menu is filled with classics (there is still little better than a good one, with perfectly poached eggs and avocado toast) and with Slavic specialties such as Syrniki, a kind of pancakes based on cottage cheese that are served with fruit and yoghurt. The drinks menu is also full of special drinks. Mint chocolate latte, Bubblegum cocktail, Aperol with strawberries... Definitely delicious if you like it cloyingly sweet, but we went for the espresso tonic. Very simple, very tasty. It won't be long before this drink appears on Amsterdam's menus even more often. And until then, you can easily make it at home. Or drink at Amo.
