Bacchus Wine Festival, Amsterdam (June 2026)
Ooolala, the sun is out again and that means the Bacchus Wine Festival in the Amsterdamse Bos is back! In a nutshell: Amsterdam wine shops and winemakers are jointly presenting more than 300 different wines from all corners of the world, delicious snacks, and, of course, great stories. Classic European varieties, intense New World wines, natural wines, and surprisingly good 0.0. So, plenty to toast to.
Bacchus Wine Festival can be found in the Amsterdamse Bos again this year for two weekends: June 5–7 en June 12–14, 2026. Two chances to enjoy, or in other words: two very good excuses.
And otherwise, it is what you are used to (or should be): buy a ticket, receive a real glass that you simply take home at the end of the evening, and wander from stall to table to hay bale.
From oysters to a juicy burger with a glass of Chardonnay or Pinot Gris, there is always something to make your lips smack.
The most affordable glass starts from €4,50But do you want more and something more exclusive? Then there is plenty to be found on the unique side of the spectrum, including something special, challenging, or slightly decadent.
The food line-up this year is mouth-watering once again. Seafood or oysters, go for the famous lobster roll from Sjefietshe, grab some Mexican tacos, or go all-in with top-quality meat from Entrecôte et les Dames. You'll eat until you're stuffed while sipping the wine.
Friday is for the grown-ups. Friday afternoon drinks with colleagues or friends, sun on your face, a glass in your hand, and those magnums of rosé? All set! On the weekend, you bring your kids along for free. They get a stamp card and entertainment, you have plenty of time for a good glass. Everyone happy.
In addition to tasting, there are also wine tastings for those who want to take things a bit more seriously, and, very importantly, there is dancing until late. Because what is wine without music….
There are different types of tickets available. With a flex ticket, you choose the weekend yourself, but decide on the day later. On Sunday, there is a family ticket for four people for €60. Please note: the event sells out every year, so be quick!
