Scandinavian brunch in Antwerp at Oktober Café
The inspiration for Oktober Café comes straight from Copenhagen, the city where the owners are often found. Thanks to this bright space in the charming town of Berchem, just a bit further from the city center, we can now enjoy Scandinavian brunch in Antwerp.
Almost everything at Oktober Café is en casa made and you can taste it right away. The barista plays with specialty drinks : from gingerbread latte to matcha with rosemary and honey, even iced You can order lavender matcha here. The baker is ready every day with pastries that smell irresistible. Only the bread and croissants come from Bakker Aldo, another Antwerp favorite.
In the kitchen, the chef creates dishes that seem simple but surprisingly hit the spot. Think of the typical Danish breakfast with bread, egg, jam, cheese, and whipped butter. Danish "Smørrebrød" en cinnamon buns are also part of it. Inside, it's sleek and minimalist, yet warm and local. Everyone is genuinely friendly. Simply a place where aromas, flavors, and atmosphere converge.
