Château de Dirac, France
A place that should not be forgotten Dirac Castle in French nature. You can call it a pearl. This place could have come straight out of the books. To say the least. The styling couple behind Les Petites Emplettes - a bit like Amsterdam Sukha - Built this beautiful little house. The couple found a secluded castle and took the time to convert it into what initially became a showroom and shop, but where private individuals will be welcome to stay for the first time in the summer of 2016. Now a few years later it is still a very nice place to enjoy what France has to offer.
The Château lives on the rhythm of nature. Every day, fresh eggs from the chicken coop can be found for breakfast, fresh herbs are picked for cooking, and in the house there are country bouquets from the own garden to enhance the romantic French atmosphere. A place where nature is fully utilized.
This castle is not only a paradise outside. Inside you imagine yourself in a simplistic interior that also offers luxury and cheerfulness. Everything is white, cream colored with a touch of 50 shades of green. You will find green details everywhere. From green doors and shutters to green cushions and teapots. This way you are one with the surrounding nature indoors.
Speaking of indoors. The rooms are beautiful. Simple with a luxurious undertone. Lots of wood, wicker and white tones. Nice! Rooms are not the only thing this French beauty has to offer. You can also relax in one of the gites or caravans on the site. Do you have your own house, just like a snail? Everyone is equally welcome, because bringing your own camper/tent is (sometimes) allowed.
Another surprise is tthe cottage of the castle: A renovated house in the style of the 'les petites shopping' brand. White, simple and cheerful. Relax here in the garden corner or play a game of table tennis and bocce.
