The most beautiful (sustainable) shop and coffee bar in Leeuwarden: NØRD concept store
Leeuwarden, you must do it. It is a beautiful city with many cozy eateries and plenty of fun things to see while walking around. Great choice for a city trip in the Netherlands. A store you should definitely not miss is NØRD. Concept store Slash coffee bar and full of the most beautiful unique items from small designers, plants and sustainable items.
The owners of NØRD concept store – Insta-crush Suussies and her husband – lived in Amsterdam but fell in love with a house in Leeuwarden. They moved with their family to the Far North and once they had completed their dream house, they had to work again, of course. They poured their stylish gifts into a new project: a nice shop and coffee bar.
In the store you will find interior items, handmade jewelry, sustainable goodies, children's gifts, tableware, paper products and mega-beautiful plants. Made by small designers and, if possible, with a sustainable story behind it. You will definitely want to stick around for an inspiring story – à la Ik Vertrek or the (sustainable) story behind the products they sell – and a coffee and treats. NØRD concept store is a very sweet, nice, beautiful thing that we didn't want all the way up north sat. Anyway, Leeuwarden is very pleased with it. And we occasionally take a look at the webshop.
