En route in South Africa? Don't miss the Robberg nature reserve

We have already shouted here on the Barts Boekje about the beautiful piece of earth that Plettenberg Bay is called and a part of South Africa that you should not miss if you are on a tour. And when you get there, an absolute must (sorry for the commanding tone) is to drop by Robberg Robberg nature reserve to go. Just look at the pictures. And they don't even show how impressively beautiful it really is.

For a small contribution (less than 5 euros per person) you can drive into the nature reserve. A justified request, by the way: the government has to get the money from somewhere to keep things so beautiful. From the parking lot you can choose to view the white, wide and beautiful beach (between the green mountains). That's a 7 minute walk. Or you can go for a 5 or 10 km hike. The first one is easy to do with children from the age of three. It is a variety of climbing and walking on the beach and straight paths so that everyone can recover. And there are more than enough beautiful places to have a drink or take a break. The nature varies enormously from forests, mountains and beaches: fantastic. How long will you be under the tiles? You will certainly have completed the round within 1,5 hours.
