This is what they are: the best pastries and the nicest pastry shops in Amsterdam

No, of course you won't gain any kilos, just before the summer (because hello, fun) and just after corona. That's wrong. No worries Well, just let them fly - we'll see what happens later. Whoever lives, who cares (by the way, we often disagree with that opinion throughout the winter, but that's besides the point). We will enjoy it with a good sip and a great bite. Especially in times when it is really nice to sometimes get some extras in the house to make it a bit more cozy. Let this list help you with that! Sweets for coffee, sweets for after dinner - just makes it more enjoyable. So here we go: the tastiest pastry shops in Amsterdam for the tastiest pastries!

Le Petit Deli

Le Petit Deli

Le Petit Deli brings a little piece from Paris to Amsterdam. An appearance that makes us so very happy! The corner building brings the necessary cheerfulness given the lights, cheerful colors and perfect styling. Instant happy mood so when approaching the dangerously tasty things from Le Petit Deli. Kaj and Lotte (love couple!) have built this business together since 2017 and we can now conclude that they have certainly succeeded with flying colors. The pastries look like true works of art and the personalized assignments they do are a joy to watch. From eclairs to macarons, from red velvet to... cheesecake. Everything tastes so good and is a pleasure for the eyes. So it is certainly a treat, those delicacies from Le petit Deli.

Pompadour

Pompadour

A classic! And certainly not the least: Pompadour. A household name in the city for years and certainly for a reason; because the quality never disappoints. The recipes are old but are always updated to continuously improve the quality. The team also regularly plans exchanges with pastry chefs from France or Belgium in order to progress and discuss new techniques. Nice! The shop has an old-fashioned, classic look (white building with a red and white striped awning) and sometimes we are really up for that - especially when it comes to pastries, it's a treat. What Pompadour consider important? good raw materials and experienced and specialized pastry chefs, well we can certainly taste that. Visit us to view the current range or order online.

Petit Gateau

Petit Gateau

Ha! who doesn't know them, those little pastries Petit Gateau. Small but nice with a manageable diameter of 6 cm. The cakes are each works of art in their own way. Behind the petit gateau are qualified French pastry chefs Meike and Patrice. A duo with 5 children who settled in Amsterdam around 2015 after a case in Paris. The team now consists of 9 skilled people, all with their own expertise. No wonder so many delicious things are made at it Petit Gateau, every day. Fan!

My Little Patisserie

My Little Patisserie

Rarely a fan of a pastry shop, but this building, the ambiance and the location do something to you. Bee My Little Patisserie walk in or order online in advance. And let them have the tastiest things. We are particularly big on Mille-feuilles. A delicious pastry with vanilla filling. Jam! For the holidays My Little Patisserie also the most delicious cakes with a Christmas twist, so keep an eye out! Also nice; they do workshops. Keep the Instagram closely monitor.

Tout Patisserie

Tout Patisserie

Tout Patisserie has been present in the capital, in the south of the city, for 12 years now. In 2007, the doors of a workshop and shop in one opened, very convenient. All recipes are devised, prepared and then made public there. You can go there for various traits; think of chocolate, pastry but also macarons. And speaking of those macarons; they look like they're worth a try. And if you are looking for a birth snack; even macarons with mice are available.
