Barts Boekje tests the new Gloss Absolu line from Kérastase

The marketing of the new Gloss Absolu line by Kérastase you probably didn't miss it, with none other than Sydney Sweeney as the face (you know her from the film Anyone But You). Of course, everyone wants a head of hair with the same amount of volume and shine as they have. Whether that is due to the Gloss Absolu line from Kérastase, we tested.

Time to dive into the facts and find out what Barts Boekje thinks of Kérastase's Gloss Absolu line:

The Gloss Absolu line consists of four products: a shampoo, conditioner, leave-in spray and hair oil drops. These products should ensure that your hair gets more volume and shine. What is noticeable, is that there is no hair mask in the line. That is because the conditioner already provides so much nutrition - and of course it is also just easier not to have to buy an extra product.

As styling products in the line you have a leave-in spray. This is a milk spray, and that milk ensures that your hair dries out less quickly (always nice!). Then there is the oil that you can distribute in the ends for extra nourishment and shine. Distribute the oil only in the ends, otherwise your hair will quickly become too heavy and you will lose your volume.

The big question: does it really give your hair more shine and volume? What we can say for sure is that your hair definitely shines and feels soft after use. Whether your hair really does get more volume may depend on your hair type – but honestly, that's not the case for us. The scent of the products is also really great: it has that perfume-like scent, but in a good way. Your hair (and your shower) smells wonderful after use.

The downside to the shampoo and conditioner is that they have a loose cap. Quite inconvenient, because you have to put the cap down somewhere - and of course you don't have three hands.
