The Curio Collection by Hilton hotels are all equally wonderful. We previously stayed at Hotel Montera in Madrid, and an overnight stay at Hart Shoreditch Hotel London is still high on the when in London This hotel is named after The Harts, a family of furniture makers who lived in the building in the 19th century. This history has been creatively incorporated into the current interior, for example, with custom-made lamps shaped like furniture makers' chests. The Connaught Located on Carlos Place in Mayfair Village, the hotel has been renovated several times since its opening in 1815. During the last renovation in 2024, the Coburg Suites were even more beautiful than they already were. Let's go back in time to the summer of 2007 in Paris, where the Experimental Group opened their first cocktail bar. The group now has restaurants and hotels in several cities. Henrietta Hotel in London is located in the middle of Covent Garden. A large part of the seventies Inspired furniture is custom-made. Downstairs, you'll find restaurant and bar Henri. A French bistro, of course, with good food and cocktails to match.
At Bermonds Locke, Tower Bridge you will spend the night in a suite or studio. In the latter you even have a small kitchen where you can prepare your own budget-proof meal. You can treat yourself to a coffee or matcha from the coffee bar downstairs the next morning. Besides good coffee and matcha, you will also find the fitness and co-working space. Although Bermonds Locke is located on a busy road, you hardly notice it. It even has advantages, the bus stop is right outside the door. The London Bridge tube station is also only a fifteen minute walk away.
There are plenty of expensive hotels in London. Fortunately, there are also plenty of slightly less expensive hotels, but if there comes a time when you can no longer resist the urge to spend (too) much money, then staying at Hotel Café Royal A great option. Everything here is lavish, both the service and the amenities. Royal has a great spa and gym, and a bar where you can linger for hours. The restaurant has multiple (!) Michelin stars—delicious.
Although London is considered one of the most important cities in the international art scene, there has never been a hotel that specifically focuses on this group. Enter The Green Rooms. The hotel that is The Green Rooms London was established in an art deco building from 1925 that, after a long period of vacancy, was restored to its former glory by a local architectural firm, with all old elements retained or restored. Simple but nice rooms and a very good restaurant.
Don't tell anyone else Half Moon Hotel is there one of those: affordable, cozy, beautiful, made and managed with love, in possession of a good restaurant (one where you would also want to go without an overnight stay) and did we mention affordable? People: The Half Moon Hotel.
Or one catch is? Yes, there is: the location. Unfortunately, it is not really super central. On the other hand, London is of course gigantic and you always have to take a metro to get somewhere. And now there is a metro connection just three steps away from the hotel.
The Zetter Hotel is probably the coolest hotel with the best price/quality ratio in London. The interior of the hotel is funky. Or well, especially from the bar and lounge. The rooms vary from 'classy-cool with a balcony and an amazing view' to quite boring, but don't let that stop you from booking. They also have three Townhouses, one in Clerkenwell, one in Marylbone and one in Bloomsbury
See within Kimpton Fitzroy London Hotel looks just as impressive as the outside, and we would like to take the entire interior home with us. In the cocktail bar 'Fitz's' (yes, named after the designer of the building Charles Fitzroy Doll) you can imagine yourself in the roaring twenties and sip your drink under a gigantic disco ball. In addition to dining, you can also have a very good breakfast at Neptune restaurant, after which you can go to the Palm Court in the afternoon for a real English high tea.
The original Hoxton Hotel, in the lovely Shoreditch district, should definitely not be missing from this list. Lots of street art, delicious restaurants (such as Lyle's and Dishoom) and ultimate shopping, all on your doorstep. The hotel itself is also to die for. Industrial design but with homely touch. Or choose one of the nine rooms designed by local artists. All nine different, all nine delicious. The bathrooms are modern and fully equipped, the beds are thick and the curtains dark, so sleeping in is a breeze.
You will also find a very nice one Hoxton in Soutwark, London. And in Rome. en Paris you will find them too.
It has no fewer than three hotels Citizen M. in London. You can find them in Shoreditch, Southwark or at the Tower of London and depending on which neighborhood you want to explore most, you've come to the right place in all three. Color, eclectic interior, nice breakfast, good coffee. A more than okay place to stay if you are not going to be in your hotel room too much, but when you are there, you have everything you need.
Another favorite for which we no longer have to cross the Atlantic Ocean, because Standard Hotel has fortunately also settled in London, in the wonderful Camden Town (so coffee every morning at the Camden Town Markets, which is great). Not a small boutique hotel, but a contemporary example of how a large hotel (266 rooms!) can still feel incredibly cozy and nice and also hip and contemporary. Some rooms are similar cabins on a ship (but with better views), others feel a bit Eastern and still other rooms have a bath on the roof terrace. So whatever your budget, and what kind of room you want, Standard Hotel London has it. And if you want another reason to be persuaded: they have the cutest, red 'pill' elevator on the outside of the building.
Yeeeeeeeeesssss! Us favorite hotel in New York is a lot closer to home and in the bustling capital of our neighbors: well hello, NoMad London. Man, this makes us happy. The interior is inspired by the artistic and cultural connection between London and New York and the hotel is located in the nineteenth century Covent Garden police station. So your view is the Royal Opera House – could be a lot worse, right? There's plenty to do in London, but we imagine you might never leave the hotel. Why would you when there is a beautiful, brown pub attached to your hotel? The Side Hustle has those cozy boots where you can sit all afternoon (yes, afternoon, yes). In the evening you want to go to NoMad Restaurant where the focus is on seasonal products. Sleeping at NoMad will cost you a fortune, but then you might also have an old-fashioned claw-foot bathtub in the middle of your room.
Really, all rooms at it Treehouse Hotel are absolutely great, but if you go anyway: book a room with a nice window seat such as the Look Out. Then you look out over Marylbone, over the All Souls Church and over the rest of the city actually. And why exactly Treehouse? In your bathroom you will find real birch trunks, the rooms all have a birdhouse and you have a bird's eye view of London. That's why, we think. Favorite place (besides that little niche by the window) is The Nest, the hotel's rooftop bar with terrace. You immediately want to take the interior home with you, the drinks are good and the food is the same.
Mellow, they call it themselves. We understand why. No mega cacophony of color or furniture, but everything sleek, stylish and deceptively simple Page Hotel. You may not find the most inspiration here, but hey, that's not always necessary. The luxury lies in the small details, such as the choice of a hard or soft pillow, a bathrobe with slippers, nice products for the shower and a number of other things that make it just that little bit more special. melower
