Ibiza's coolest-not-even-open-yet-hide-away-stays for this summer part 1: THE FARM IBIZA
We wrote about it before North of Ibiza, content that you want to take with you on your next Ibiza trip because it is so nice and quiet there, with such nice hidden stands and restaurants. You know, that 'completely different side' of Ibiza. But let's be honestEvery good Ibiza article you come across now mentions these places and unfortunately it hasn't been this quiet for a long time now. Well.

But we do Bart's Booklet We wouldn't be Barts Boekje if we didn't have a few scoops for you. Read: these are the new ones Lovers (the holiday hit of 2017) from the Spanish island.

The Farm Ibiza
One of these pearls is The Farm Ibiza. Check Insta but, and you are guaranteed to be sold. In the middle of the middle of nowhere This farm owned by the lovely Francesca is located near the village of Sant Miquel. She is originally from Chile, but has been on the island for years. Together with her family: with husband Alonso and twins Leon and Lola, one and a half years old, the family lives here completely farmlife as farmlife is intended. They go all the way and completely for the Slowlifestyle, where they grow their own vegetables in an 'organic farming' way and collect their own rainwater in large landscaped lakes.

The finca from 1880 was completely renovated by themselves, while maintaining the traditional finca style. The house exudes art and design, from the moment you step over the threshold. The creative interior is a colorful, eclectic mix of design classics, treasures around the world and flea market finds with influences from the 50s, 60s and 70s. This is all thanks to (especially) Alonso's love for vintage design (extended to the bathroom taps). For example, the Portuguese tiles on the kitchen floor were manually transported from Andalusia by the couple during a holiday during her pregnancy. The doctor then forbade her to fly, so they decided to take a road trip through Spain. Here they found the most beautiful pieces that have now all been incorporated into their incredibly tasteful, unique family home.

It's almost (almost!) too good to be true, but this beautiful place is available for rent during the summer months. And that is more than wonderful, because there is a large swimming pool with natural water and (of course!) the mega vegetable garden and 78 fruit trees, from which you can eat endlessly.

Next to the main house there are a number of beautiful stables, which will become hotel rooms in the future. But no rush, everything in due time says Francesca, she is still busy with her twins. Look, and that's exactly what we mean by that slow lifestyle...
